The Story Behind the Design

This collaboration brings to life the First Nations Health Foundation’s logo, originally envisioned and designed by two-spirited Wet’suwet’en artist Sa’tsi Naziel (Gilseh’yu/Big Frog Clan, Unist’oten/Dark House). Sa’tsi’s powerful heart-and-hands artwork captures the profound reciprocity of health, healing, and wellness—embedded in community support:

“These designs represent giving care. Drawn are hands giving care (represented by a heart), yet it can also be seen as receiving care.”

Combined with Raven Wolden’s signature contemporary style, these earrings transform a deeply meaningful symbol of health and wellness into stunning wearable art.
